About Try Tarot Now

Try Tarot Now is a free place to explore tarot, ask a thoughtful question and learn the cards. Every reading and guide is available without payment or an account.

Reflection, not certainty

We use tarot images as prompts for considering feelings, patterns and choices. We do not claim that a card can reveal private facts about another person or predict an event. A useful reading should leave you with more room to think and act for yourself.

How the interactive readings work

The deck is shuffled randomly in your browser. Written rules combine card themes, orientation and a selected focus into an interpretation. Questions are not sent to an AI service. A simple keyword check can recognize some common love or work topics in general readings, but it does not understand every question. You can choose the focus directly.

The daily tool keeps the first completed reading for the current local date on this browser when local storage is available. The yes/no tool uses an editorial theme mapping, explained on its page; it does not calculate the likelihood of an outcome.

Our learning resources

These guides use the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition as a starting point. Background reading includes Paul de Senquisse’s Easy Guide for a Rider-Waite Based Tarot Reading, The Daily Tarot Girl’s Learning the Tarot Card Meanings, Arrow Sisters’ Tarot Cards Masterclass for Beginners, and Liz Dean’s The Ultimate Guide to Tarot. Individual guides identify their reading references.

Our articles use original wording, practice examples and a reflection-first approach. We do not reproduce book chapters or offer the source PDFs for download. Spiritual and predictive claims in reference works are not presented as established facts here. Interpretations differ across readers and traditions.

Editorial transparency

The site uses AI-assisted drafting and development. The interpretive examples are teaching examples, not testimonials or reports of events. We do not claim that the content has been reviewed by a certified tarot professional. Read critically, compare perspectives and keep what helps you reflect.

The artwork

The classic card images are by Pamela Colman Smith for the Rider–Waite–Smith deck, sourced from Wikimedia Commons. The artwork and tarot traditions are distinct from our site’s explanations and reading rules.

Your privacy and your pace
